My Picks of the Week are :

In College Sports Loco-ness:
ucla vs. USC baseball 3-day weekend series, Feb. 25-27...though the 'ruins went through a couple beatings @ North Cah'lina (Go 'Heels!), it's ucla and USC, expect a few good innings, and then for USC to open a can 'a Wup Ass on their friendly crosstown rivals.

And finally...the LINE [as seen in ESPN, the Magazine]
Friends vs. Enemies
Line: Sure, friends are friends, but enemies give you something to think about while you're taking an exam or while you're just sittin there...something to plan...Line: Pick 'em

Special-ness...The Good, The Bad, The Ugly...
The Good:
successfully "sneaking in" to an R-rated movie...total net gain = + one great movie (hopefully great)
The Bad:
unsuccessfully sneaking into an R-rated movie...total net gain = -$5 & + one crappy movie (if you're lucky, it's not that crappy)
The Ugly:
unsuccessfully sneaking into an R-rated movie, leaving the theater, trying again but finding out you're liably watching the movie you already bought a ticket for, and then catching a ride to the mall only to find the show times are all too late, then sticking around to watch anyway, and still not being able to buy tickets for the R-rated movie, but finally being able to sneak in....total net gain = -$5, & -6 or so hours, but + one great movie, and for all the trouble spent, it better be one damn good movie.
